Anaheim is the place to be on the Fourth of July! The city hosts a full day of activities, including a 5K and 10K, pancake breakfast, dog show, and parade. Food vendors and live entertainment will also be available! Then, after a full, fun day of festivities, sit back and enjoy Anaheim’s firework show, or head over to Disneyland to see their magical display!
Most of the city’s events are free, but you do have to pay to register for the run or to enter the dog show. The festivities kick off at 7:00 a.m. with the Firecracker Run and end at 9:00 p.m. with the fireworks show. The full schedule can be found online, with times and pricing information for all events. Attend them all, or choose your favorite ones!

Want a break from the summer heat? There is no better way to cool off than a trip to The Adventure Lagoon waterpark! Featuring a sandy beach on a crystal-clear lake, this is a beautiful destination and wonderful way to enjoy the summer! The park includes a floating obstacle course, paddle boarding, bumper boats, kayaks, and water volleyball. Whether you want to venture through the obstacle course, relax on the beach, or do something in between, this park is fun for everyone!
Located in Anaheim, the park is open daily from 10:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Beach-only admission is $30, while beach access plus one obstacle course session is $40. Kids five and under get in for only $5 each. Don’t forget to bring your ID, a signed waiver, a bathing suit, and a towel!
Do you love reptiles? You’re in luck! Anaheim will be hosting the Reptile Super Show this year, where reptile lovers will gather to see and purchase exotic reptiles. Visitors will also have the option to attend educational workshops or buy supplies for their own reptiles. Featuring lizards, snakes, amphibians, and tortoises, this is a one-of-a-kind event to dive into the world of reptiles!
This two-day event will occur at the Anaheim Convention Center on Saturday, July 9, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and Sunday, July 10, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Tickets start at $10 for kids and $16 for adults and range up to $50 if you purchase the VIP two-day pass. Want to give your kids the experience of a lifetime? KIDZCON is the ultimate convention for kids. This event, designed for kids to enjoy a world of fun and discovery, features shopping, food, and entertainment. Fun for the whole family, kids and adults alike are sure to enjoy this experience.
The event runs July 15–17 in Anaheim, and tickets can be reserved in three-hour time slots on whichever day you choose. Attendance for children (ages eight to 17) costs $20, and attendance for adults (18 and up) costs $25. A VIP family package is also available for $175. Parking is $26 for the day, and a portion of all proceeds from this event will benefit the Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles. Tickets sell out fast, so you will want to purchase yours quick!
Nothing can put you in the summer mood quite like a baseball game. The sound of the ball being hit, the rush of watching your favorite player hit a home run, and the smell of gameday hot dogs just can’t be found anywhere else! Anaheim is lucky to be home to Angel Stadium, the home field of the Los Angeles Angels. These baseball games are the perfect way to spend a summer day!

Want a taste of the 80s? Check out Totally 80s Live at the House of Blues! Enjoy classic Southern dishes while listening to popular 80s artists, including The Untouchables, Gene Loves Jezebel, The Motels, When In Rome II, and Bow Wow Wow.
The event will occur on July 1 at the House of Blues, and doors will open at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are $25 and are general admission standing only. The event is open to all ages, but there is a cocktail party for those ages 21 and up before the show in the Foundation Room.
Presented by Journeys, Sad Summer Festival is returning for its third year! Occurring on July 9 in Anaheim, this alternative and indie music festival will feature artists including Waterpark, Mayday Parade, Neck Deep, State Champs, Against the Current, Hot Mulligan, Magnolia Park, and the Summer Set.
The event begins at 2:30 p.m. Premiering at The Lot At City National Grove of Anaheim , tickets range from $49 to $120 and can be purchased online .
